6 Nm of force feedback, the MHG grip and a clamp in one box
The MOZA AB6 Flight Simulator is an entry kit with real force feedback: the AB6 base and the MHG grip in one box, plus a desk clamp. Unlike spring-loaded joysticks, the force here is generated by two servo motors, so the aircraft physically pulls on the stick — you feel aerodynamic load, stall buffet and landing kick rather than the resistance of a spring. The base produces 4.4 Nm of continuous roll torque and up to 6 Nm of peak combined torque, with ±20° of roll and ±17° of pitch travel — more than most short-throw sticks, thanks to its longer lever arm. The housing is aluminium alloy, the unit weighs 2.95 kg, it draws 72 W from 110–220 V mains, polls over USB at 1000 Hz and resolves its axes across 0–65535 steps. Telemetry-based feedback works natively with no plug-ins and is tuned in MOZA Cockpit, alongside the eight programmable front-panel buttons and their 16.7-million-colour RGB backlight. The carbon-fibre reinforced MHG grip provides 25 assignable outputs: four five-way switches, a Hall-effect hat switch (mini-stick) and a two-stage trigger. The base mounts to a desk with the included clamp, to a separate base mount adapter, or hard to a rig profile. MSFS 2020 and 2024, DCS World, X-Plane 10–12, IL-2 and War Thunder are supported; the platform is PC.

Two servo motors instead of a spring
In an ordinary joystick a spring pulls the stick back to centre — the force is always the same and tells you nothing about the flight. In the AB6 two servo motors create the force: the sim sets the load and the stick pulls on your hand the way real control surfaces would. Controls stiffen with speed and go slack as it bleeds off; a stall arrives as buffet, not as text on the screen.

6 Nm and a long throw
The base delivers 4.4 Nm of continuous roll torque and up to 6 Nm of peak combined torque. More telling than the raw numbers is the travel: ±20° of roll and ±17° of pitch. The long lever arm gives more effective stick movement than short desktop joysticks, so fine corrections on the glideslope or in a fight do not depend on a steady wrist.

The MHG grip is already in the box
The kit includes the carbon-fibre reinforced MHG grip: 25 assignable outputs, four five-way switches, a Hall-effect hat switch (mini-stick) and a two-stage trigger. There is no separate grip to buy — the setup flies straight out of the box. Later, the base will take any other grip in the MOZA Flight range if you want a different control profile.

Telemetry without plug-ins
In DCS World, Microsoft Flight Simulator and X-Plane the feedback is built on the sim's own telemetry — no third-party plug-ins or utilities are needed. MOZA Cockpit is where you set force profiles, centring, damping and friction for a specific aircraft, and where the eight front-panel buttons and their 16.7-million-colour RGB backlight are programmed.

It fits on an ordinary desk
The base measures 188 × 123 × 163 mm, weighs 2.95 kg and is housed in aluminium alloy. A cockpit frame is optional: the desk clamp is in the box and holds the base to a desktop. For a permanent build there is a base mount adapter (sold separately) and built-in holes for hard-mounting to aluminium profile; power is 72 W from a standard wall socket.
Compatibility
PC only. DCS World, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, 2020 and 2024, X-Plane 11 and 12, IL-2 Sturmovik (Cliffs of Dover and the Great Battles series), War Thunder and Star Citizen are supported; telemetry force feedback works in DCS, MSFS X/2020/2024 and X-Plane 11/12. In other titles the base is seen as a generic device — axes and buttons are mapped by hand. The MHG grip is included, and the base accepts every grip in the MOZA Flight range. Mounting: the included clamp, a base mount adapter (sold separately) or a direct hard mount to a rig profile.

Questions
How is the AB6 better than a spring-loaded joystick?
The force comes from two servo motors and is driven by the sim itself, not by a spring. That is what lets you feel aerodynamic load at speed, stall buffet, turbulence and the kick on touchdown. Peak combined torque is 6 Nm; continuous roll torque is 4.4 Nm.
Do I need to buy a grip and a mount separately?
No. The box contains the AB6 base, the MHG Flightstick grip and a desk clamp, plus the power supply, cables, a toolkit and the manual. Only the base mount adapter for a permanent install and the emergency stop switch are separate, if you want them.
Which sims support telemetry force feedback?
According to MOZA, telemetry force feedback is supported in DCS World, Microsoft Flight Simulator X, 2020 and 2024, and in X-Plane 11 and 12 — with no plug-ins. War Thunder, IL-2 Sturmovik and Star Citizen are supported too; in titles outside the list the base works as a generic device with axes and buttons mapped by hand.
