An airliner sidestick: 12 inputs, 220 grams
The MA3X is MOZA FLIGHT's sidestick grip, shaped after the classic side controllers of civil aircraft. It is the cheapest way into the MOZA FLIGHT line: mount it on a base and you immediately get the right wrist position and the familiar rake of the handle. It carries four physical buttons that expand to 12 programmable input signals, plus an ALPS 8-way hat switch, a trigger and a toggle switch. The ALPS switches are rated for more than 100,000 actuations, so the grip keeps its crispness after hundreds of flight hours. The shell is ultra-rigid composite, rated for loads up to 30 kg while weighing only 220 g, and a multi-layer UV-treated finish mimics the resin feel of real aircraft controls. It connects through a 5-pin aviation connector: plug-and-play on MOZA bases, and compatible with most third-party bases once the buttons are mapped in your sim's settings.

The shape of a civil sidestick
The MA3X copies the geometry of civil-aviation side controllers: a curved grip, a palm rest and a rake that lets your wrist sit on the armrest instead of hanging in the air. On long legs that matters more than any feature list — your hand simply does not tire.
- 02
Four buttons, twelve functions
Classic sidesticks make do with a couple of buttons. The MA3X has four, and together with the hat, the trigger and the toggle they add up to 12 programmable signals — enough for autopilot, trim, view and comms without reaching for the keyboard.
- 03
ALPS switches for the long haul
The grip uses ALPS switches rated for more than 100,000 actuations, the 8-way hat included. The click stays crisp and the directions do not stick on the diagonals — which matters when you use the view control on every approach.
- 04
220 grams that hold 30 kg
The ultra-rigid composite shell weighs 220 g yet takes loads up to 30 kg — margin for sharp inputs and the occasional knock. Over it sits a multi-layer UV-treated finish that feels closer to the resin of real aircraft controls than to ordinary glossy plastic.

Fits MOZA bases and beyond
It uses the same 5-pin aviation connector as the rest of the MOZA FLIGHT grips: instant on MOZA bases, mechanically and electrically compatible with most others. On a third-party base you will most likely map the buttons once in your sim's settings.
Compatibility
The MA3X is a grip for a base, not a standalone joystick. On MOZA bases it works as soon as the 5-pin aviation connector is plugged in; it fits most third-party bases mechanically and electrically, though the buttons may need to be mapped by hand in your sim's settings. PC only.

Questions
Can the MA3X be plugged straight into a PC?
No. It is a grip for a base: it plugs into a MOZA base, or a compatible base from another brand, through the 5-pin aviation connector, and the base is what connects to the computer.
How many functions can I map on it?
Up to 12 programmable signals: four physical buttons, an ALPS 8-way hat switch, a trigger and a toggle. With MOZA bases the layout is configured in MOZA Cockpit.
Is it suitable for combat sims?
Yes, even though the shape is a civil one. Twelve signals and an 8-way hat cover the basics in DCS or War Thunder; if you need many switches on the grip itself, look at the MH16 instead.
How do I place a pre-order?
The item opens for pre-order on 18 November 2026. After your request a GEEKSHOP manager confirms the order, and the grip can be collected in Tashkent about a month later.
