01 / How it works

Brake by force, not by guesswork

The MOZA SRP2 Pedals are a two-pedal throttle and brake set for drivers moving off potentiometer pedals onto a load cell brake. The brake responds to how hard you press rather than how far: the load cell covers 0-100 kg, and MOZA pairs it with a 15-bit angle sensor (32,768 PPR). A patented fusion algorithm combines the two — the angle sensor handles the first part of the travel, the load cell the rest — and either sensor can also be used on its own. Brake feel is changed with elastomers and springs in three hardness grades (60R, 70R, 80P): 25 combinations as supplied, and over 1,000 with the separate Performance Kit. Everything is swapped by hand, no tools. The pedal faces adjust between 10 and 25 degrees, +/-15 mm sideways and over a 36 mm height range, while the throttle and clutch have two-step preload. The pedals connect straight to a PC over USB and work with almost any wheel base, including the full MOZA line-up. Pit House handles travel curves, the brake engagement point and real-time output monitoring. The base can sit on the floor on its anti-slip pads, or be bolted to a stand or cockpit; the SRP2 Rear Support Bracket is sold separately for extra rigidity. The SRP2 clutch pedal is not included and is bought separately.

  1. 01

    A brake that counts kilograms

On ordinary pedals the brake is a position sensor: the game sees how far the pedal moved. On the SRP2 the brake measures force, over a 0-100 kg range. That is closer to a real car, where the pedal barely travels and deceleration follows line pressure. Braking becomes repeatable — the same effort gives the same result, lap after lap.

  2. 02

    Two sensors instead of one

MOZA fuses the load cell with a 15-bit angle sensor — 32,768 counts per revolution. A patented algorithm gives the first part of the travel to the angle sensor and the rest to the load cell, and either can be used on its own. The hybrid keeps sensitivity right at the top of the pedal, where plain load cell pedals can feel wooden.

  3. 03

25 brake setups and not one wrench

Brake stiffness comes from a stack of elastomers and springs in three hardness grades — 60R, 70R and 80P. They give 25 distinct characteristics, from soft road car to sharp race car. The separate Performance Kit adds ten springs, rubber elements and metal inserts, taking the set past 1,000 combinations and allowing the near-zero travel of formula machinery. Everything is swapped by hand, between sessions.

  4. 04

    Fitted to how you sit

The pedal face switches between 10 and 25 degrees, each pedal slides +/-15 mm sideways and adjusts over 36 mm of height, and MOZA shaped the arm angle for desktop setups, to match a natural foot position. Throttle and clutch both have two-step preload. Enclosed sleeve motion and polished steel shafts keep the travel quiet, and soft cushioning at the end stops removes the knock.

  5. 05

Works with your base and with Pit House

The SRP2 plugs straight into a PC over USB, so a MOZA base is not required: the maker states compatibility with bases from almost any brand and full support for its own range. Pit House shows live force on each pedal and sets the travel curve, the electronic range and the brake engagement point. If you want a third pedal, the SRP2 clutch mounts on the same base and is bought separately.

Questions

Do I need a MOZA base to use these pedals?

No. The SRP2 connects to a PC directly over USB and works with almost any wheel base, not only MOZA. Going through a MOZA base is an alternative that frees up a USB port. For Xbox the pedals have to be used with a MOZA base and an Xbox-compatible wheel; ask the GEEKSHOP manager about the exact configuration.

Is a clutch pedal included?

No, the box holds only the throttle and the brake. The MOZA SRP2 Clutch Pedal is sold separately and mounts on the same base, after which its height, angle and two-step preload can be set. The clutch fits SRP2 series pedals only and is not compatible with the SRP Lite2 from the R5 Pro set.

Do I need a cockpit, or can the pedals go on the floor?

They can sit on the floor: the base has anti-slip pads and the arm angle is designed for desk use. For a solid fit, bolt them to a cockpit or a stand; the separate SRP2 Rear Support Bracket stops them sliding away under heavy braking.

How does the GEEKSHOP preorder work?

Preorders open on 18 November 2026. Once you place a request a GEEKSHOP manager contacts you to confirm the configuration and the timing; delivery is roughly one month from order confirmation. The manager gives the exact date when confirming.
